Eric Odinot modelled these crows in clay in 2000 and had them cast, based on an idea from a client.

First of all the posture of the crows is cut into foam-rubber.
The feet and beak of the crow have been duplicated from a suffed crow, so no detail would be lost.
Sometimes the body of the bird must be manipulated a slight bit.
With the assistance of a stuffed crow as an example, the birds are modelled into clay.

Then a mould was made, after which they were poured into bronze and finished
